If it's a sticker, use a razor...comes right off

After you use the razor blade and all the decal is off, spray window cleaner on it and scrub off with a rag.. it will take off that sticky filmy crap, Be really careful using a razor blade, you can scratch your paint, so take your time.

Agreed with Skooby. If the sticker is on the body of the X, be careful on the paint. If it's on the window, you should be fine.

ill go with he razor blade. my bro mixed some chemicals together and told me to use that but it looked......dangerous. his finished product was kinda doing that dry ice and hot water thing. lol he works in some type of lab around here so he has access to some weird stuff.

LOL! Well it is Halloween ;)

Then again, I don't think you want your paint running off the back off your X

Warm it up in the sun or use a blow dryer.
You want to warm it, not bake it.
Then do the razor thing.

i take off my student decal like at 2 in the afternoon when it is really hot, and i use a razor blade. as for the residue i get some goo gone and rub it down. i always put it on the window never on the paint or bumper.

Personally, I usually hold the razor blade with pliers. I started that with the old State Inspection Stickers we used to have on our windshields but now, it seems to allow me to put on a little pressure and bend the blade to get a better angle for some reason.

You probably took care of it already. So I'm just posting it up anyway. I've found the best way to do this for future reference is use a blow dryer to soften the glue and the scrape it off or you can even use dental floss. To get the rest adhesive glue off use Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover as directed. You won't even know there was stickers there.

Why go through the trouble... Just carefully use a razor blade, dont worry about the sticky stuff until the decals off and use window cleaner or wd40. Done.

Takes 2 min. I wouldnt bother getting the hair dryer out and all that jazz. I work at a dealership so Im used to taking the decals off.

I would only suggest the blow dryer if it gives you a hard time. Usually you'd really only do that if it was on paint like those pin stripes. Personally, I wouldn't put a razor blade to my windows at all. To each their own.. Besides, the Turtle Wax Bug, Tar & Sap remover would do just about the same except with the Turtle Wax you wouldn't need a Razor Blade. It'll looses up the adhesive so well that it'll come right off and remove the adhesive at the same time. Just another suggestion to the list of them.:) I guess we all have our own little ways of doing things.

I can understand that. Sometimes you scrape it without realizing. I've done that as well when it was covered with ice and snow.
