Just thought I'd throw this bit of news out there.
Fife Nissan (whoever they were previously) was bought out by Larson Automotive Group. They own the big Chrysler store across the street from Puyallup Nissan @ 161 & Valley Ave (near the start/end of hwy 167).

Went by there today to see what they had and they had no 09 X's. A few 08's but no off-road anythings. Even saw a Gen1 on the lot.
The guy I talked to was friendly enough but overall the dealership didn't impress me a lot. Nowhere near as big as either Puyallup Nissan or Eastside Nissan.

Thanks for the Heads up Jay! It'll be interesting how the new owners will manage that location.

When I was looking for my rig, I went to Puyallup, Burien, Yonkers (Renton), Tacoma and the Seattle dealerships. Though some places did try to win my business, I was either creep'd out by the people/location or they didn't have what I was looking for. IMO, Eastside Nissan is where I will buy my next car. The service there is great too!

So Jay, when are we going to go look at '09's?

How's the weekend of Oct 18 or 19 for you? Meet up in Issaquah for a get-to-know-you lunch or something?

I actually called Advantage Nissan out in Bremerton and I have to say they impressed me enough over the phone that I'm going to go have a chat with them about an X.
They still don't have any 09's OR on the lot but they appear to offer better incentives to get you in because they are out on the Peninsula.
The only thing I'd really like to see in person is what the 09 Navy Blue looks like on the X. I've been assured that some other Nissan's have the exact same color code but I'm always leary of buying something sight unseen however since the X only has 1 blue I guess that's that.

18 or 19th sounds good!

Depending on which dealerships you want to hit, we can make the meeting place closer to Edgewood because Issy's out of the way.

If we choose a place, we should see if anyone else in the Seattle area wants to meet up!

Actually Keyz, even the bigger dealerships only have a token 09 so there's really not much to go look at but maybe by then there will be some in.

Hopefully some other PNW members will chime in about that weekend and we'll see if we can find some place better suited for a meet up.

That's why I tore mine all down and did the color change as soon as I got it home, because they only offered one blue, and I wanted something different, lol.

I think I'll always be envious and appreciative of your X's coat Creepy.
Maybe once the warranty runs out and my X needs a freshening I'll pick a more personal hue of blue.

Jay, are you down to meet up at South Center around 12pm on Saturday the 18th?

Anyone else interested. This would be a great opportunity for a meet and greet.

NOTE: Sorry Jay, I accidentally hit the edit button in one of your posts. I didn't change anything, but it still shows up as "edited".

Sure, where you thinking about; some place with food & drinks?

I'm good with most of the places there at SouthCenter, just depends on whose coming and what budget tier we'd like to hit. ie ClaimJumper, Cheese Cake Factory, Olive Garden, Red Robin, Sizzler, Outback, McDonalds, BK, etc.

No worries on the edit besides your a mod isn't that what mods do. ;)

I'm down for whatever. I think a place where people can sit and eat/drink would be good. So, Claim Jumpers, Red Robin, Bahama Breeze and the Cheese Cake Factory is a good choice. We can meet up at one of those places. If these locations works for you, we may want to post a thread letting everyone in the Seattle area know that we are trying to meet up.

Sounds good. Post up a thread for it and maybe we'll draw out a couple of lurkers or something.
My vote would be for Claim Jumper or if folks would rather have lighter fare then Red Robin.
