: Annoying Squeak...any ideas? Paulkucz 09-27-2008, 02:49 PM So they recently installed these really annoying speed bumps in the alley behind my office, and a few days after slowly going over them ( OK the first time I wanted to see how easy my X would take 'em, and 15 MPH was a little much) I've noticed that when anyone is getting in or out of the truck there is a squeak coming from the rear driver's side wheel well. I don't hear anything when I'm driving or braking, I only notice to noise when the engine is off and I'm getting out of the car, or anyone else is getting in or out. Mine will squeek like an old rusty door hinge when I'm getting in and out of my X if they work themselves loose even just a fraction. I need to slip some loc-tite in there but I keep forgetting.
