just put a new head unit/subs and amp into my 05 S. i'm in the process of replacing all the speakers- anyone know how to test the leads to determine which wire is neg/pos on the factory wires, or know which ones (by color) are the neg and pos hookups? i don't want to get the polarity reversed on the speakers, but can't tell by just touching the wires to the speakers and listening to it. thanks

Greetings and welcome to the forums.
The only way to really get the wiring right by way of cutting and wiring the speakers is to get the service manual. They actually have been known to change wire colors between different years.
One thing that may help you, and I have found greatly amusing is that Best Buy is now carrying conversion clips for those who do aftermarket speakers. they have them by make and model that match up to the factory speaker plug, and then have positive and negative terminals coming out of the other end of the clip. I think they are less than 10 dollars, and well worth it in my humble opinion.
Post up some pictures when you have the chance, I would love to see them. I have a couple pics of the start of my stereo system in the Show and Tell section. I'll have some up in here soon as well.
