Well guys/gals, I had mentioned I was going to get some side steps and do a little to the truck. Well in the last couple of weeks I put a set of BFG AllTerrains on, I ended up installing factory sidesteps, a bugdeflector, ventvisors, and an Airaid intake. That is all the good news. The bad news is that within the last few weeks the rear end started to clunk when turning left or right. I checked everything and can't seem to figure it out. I took it to Nissan seeing how it only has 30,000miles on it and it's under warrenty. They can't seem to figure it out but hear the clunk too. So on Wed it goes in to get a whole new rear end put under it. I'll get some new pics up soon. I'm taking off for the Mountains again on Oct, 1st so I'll get some nice pics. Hopefully try the tires out too!

Welcome to CX! I hope your clunking issues are solved with that new rear end, glad it's covered under warranty!

Well they installed a whole new rear end. Now the clunk is gone. They had to adjust the rear brakes which made a difference. More bad news....... Some time this summer the leaf springs started squeaking and had to be oiled every 2-300 miles. Right where the little U brackets or keepers are. I got so fed up after going to the mountains last week that I took it back into the dealer. I talked to the service manager and explained to him what was going on and that I had already brought it in to them once for this problem before. Well now I'm getting all new leaf springs put under it too!! haha. The whole rear end of the truck will be new! haha.

so lucky. I'm supprised they didn't say that you abused it and weren't going to cover the repair.

Seeing how it's warrenty they prolly don't care....... seeing how they make $$ off Nissan. No sweat off their back. I'm just glad it's getting fixed.

not here in the states people go through hell trying to get stuff fixed and as far as making money they are pratically giving xterras away cause no one wants a big suv anymore but im glad you didnt have any problems getting you issues resolved

Well after reading a lot of posts, I decieded to throw a MagnaFlow 5"x8"x24" muffler on. I also went and bought the SuperChip programer from the group discount buy as well. So now my set up is an Airaid Intake, Mangaflow Muffler, and the SuperChip. Rolling on the BFG Allterains. I love the exhaust. It made a huge difference. The sound at idle or driving normal, well sounds normal. But when you lay into it, the sound is nice and deep and not too loud at all. Just perfect. I have to wait for my programer though. I hopefully will have it within the next two weeks. I purchased it on Dec23rd. I thank you for all the help.

Well here are a few pics I took. Nothing special. I took some video, but photobucket won't let me upload it. I guess it has to be under 100mb. Is there another site I can upload the video too??? If so I'll post it up so you guys can hear it.

Ok here is a small video I took. You can hear the exhaust really nice.

Sorry I'm having some issues getting the video posted. Give me a minute and I'll figure it out. I guess if you just click on the black screen it'll work.
