Greetings all,

Another DIY modification on my to do list is the installation of a Gentex auto dimming mirror with compass, temp, and home link buttons. Look for information and instructions with pictures by the end of June/start of July.

If anyone has done it and wants to share their experiences, I welcome that as well.

I saw your thread on this and was curious if you had accomplished the install yet ?
It is one of my desires as well. I have sent an e-mail to a guy on eBay, He wants $269.99 for the temp, home-link, compass, auto-dim mirror and alledges that install is relatively easy ?
The led color is blue and I'd like to see amber to match my dashlights.
Unfortunately, I have better things to spend 269.99 on right now.

fyi... i installed one of these, no prob. Just take your time and anyone with a little common sense should be able to follow the directions. I am very happy with it and have had no problems in 10 months.
