awesome. i know right where that is. i went to college on long island and did my rotc stint at manhattan college up in the bronx....was a casual lt up there for a while when i was waiting to go to pilot training as well. i've been down that way numerous times and will actually be passing through on thursday to head out to the island for a wedding...what do you do in the cg?

Im an operations specialist, i deal with all the cargo vsls that enter the port and also deal with search and rescue ops, planning taking the mayday calls etc. exciting job actually, btw really nice x

Yea but it can't beat flying, we have the c-130 hercs, freakin things are huge. How long have you been in?

been active duty for 4 years now....about 2 years of school to get my wings and been flying the herc for a little over 2 years now. getting ready to move from copilot to aircraft commander here in the next couple months. and the old herky bird is an awesome airplane to fly....she's a little slow, but can do some crazy sh!t that no other large airframe can do. she's a blast and i love flying her
