As I mentioned in my introduction thread, I started to restore a Honda CT90 Trail bike.

The bike was used originally by my dad and his brother back when they were younger, but has sat in my grandpa's barn in upstate NY for the past 30+ years, untouched. The early version of the CT90's weren't assigned years, but K #'s instead. This is a K0, the original line of the CT90s. Actual manufactured year is somewhere between 1966-1968.

Dad went to NY on vacation and brought it back and I have been working on taking it all apart, ordering replacement items (hard to come by), and just recently got it all sandblasted because it was full of heavy surface rust.

Check out the links below for pics of the whole process so far.

Now to finish getting parts and to paint everything that was sandblasted.

Thanks. Only major part I might not be able to save is the muffler due to it being too rusted in a couple areas. Everything else cleaned up great!

That's a sweet little project you have. Looking forward to what it will look like with some fresh paint.

Started painting the other day. Ways to go still, but man, it makes a difference.
