is it a manual or auto? The oil coolers seems like an excellent mod. A few people here swear by them and they said they get about a 2-3 mpg gain. But if you have a 5 speed, ignore what i said.

Good news about the PML. That'll look sweet. Meguiars is good stuff. Have you tried Zaino? I highly recommend it...if you think it's shiny now; you should try it out ;)

When I first got my X I washed It at least once a week, now I don't even bother...

I never bother to wash my X much...of course I got it with the intent of taking it on trails.

I wash it once and awhile - sometimes after a trail run if it got really muddy - but it's more of a spray off than wash.

I would put them on. I got Rancho 5000 for minewhith the 2.5 lift. What a difference it makes, but Because the shocks were bigger I had to take off the rear sway bar.

Mine is alot smoother. Could also be because I have no idea how long the old shocks had been on.

I painted my wheels today. I used a wire brush and lot's of sandpaper. The chrome was flaking really bad, so I decided it was time to paint them.

Yep the Black and Green look a lot better, I never liked the chrome wheels. Get some tint on the front windows, that will finish it off.

Well I decided I did not like the satin black on my wheels and plastic's, so I went with flat black.

Well I had to change wheels on X. I had one that before that nobody could get to balance right, then fond out it was bent. I had these wheels and put them on.

Just throwing it out there but If I were you I'd have the front windows tinted to match, remove the pin stripe, paint the wheels flat black again, and paint the rack.

Everything that's not green on your X, I would paint flat black... Get a good contrast going.

That's what I would do though... It's your X do what you want.

I say at least paint the wheels, they look a little out of place with the black and green scheme, IMO. I dont have much room to talk though, I have been putting off painting mine for months. I have everything I need for it, I'm just lazy lol Your x is looking good though, i like the green a lot.

I put caps on the wheels today, I also took off the resonators the intake. If I was to paint them, I would get them powdercoated, so as have now I won't being doing that until more money arrives.

Alright, I took everybody's advise and painted the wheels black. Look's a lot better. Here's a few pic's. Hopefully the the next pic's will be with my BL, and 32's or 33's. Steeze, I took off that pin striping, I am pricing the tint for the front windows.

Well did a little more work on the X today, finished painting the wheels, changed gear oil in the diff., and installed some lights. Put some on the bumper, got some more for the roof rack.

The more I see your tires...the more I like them... How much or less were they than BFG's?

Don't worry they will stay the way they are. I got them for 116$ a tire. Hell they worked awesome this morning. I had to go to work at 5 am and all the roads were horrible. I never slipped or spun a tire while everybody else around me was all over the place.

Thats odd.. I havent had my whole rack off yet.. But all the bolts Ive take off have been easy

Alright I did not go in to detail, but the bolts I am having trouble with are for the roof basket, and the front fairing. One the screws in the basket broke off, and 2 in the fairing broke off. They were all on the driver's side rail.

You should be able to drill it out...

I thought that too, but the little piece that screw goes into broke off. So I may have to drill all the way through and put a longer bolt in.

yeah mine came out fine too, is there a lot of rust up there

only with the bolts, cause if I am right the rack bars are aluminum, but have little steel inserts for the bolts. The insert and bolt is my problem. Hell if I can get them out I'll just drill them out and put in bigger bolts.

No drilling! Just ran it under rack foot, than down the windshield seal.

That is true! I think that before I go again I am going to get my bigger tires, and I am going to get a locker for the rear. I guess I better start saving money.

Locker would help... That was your biggest issue... Some times you need more than 1 tire turning... :D

Yep, we did. I started cleaning the X today used 10$ at the carwash,and still not even have halfway cleaned.

Hey that looks way cool! I have desert runners on mine too and that glossy darkish grey paint they used on rims is impossible to get or match and they chip when you look at them sideways! Paint your rims, you should paint your plastics.. Just look at drakes build thread for ideas.. btw, your rims can't get rock rash if they never see rocks.. I can assure you fear alone doesn't scratch them.. lol

I did, but decided once I drive more on the road than offroad I needed something that would work for both, plus these were only 138$ each. Next on the agenda is a locker.
