So i know its not "free" but i was talking with this guy from work that had a 03 X and he was telling me that his friend in savannah has a dyno so after they changed some oil and crap in a civic and was talking about 9 hp difference, so they changed all the oil and fluids in the x with synthetic and went as far as new wheel bearings with synthetic grease from royal purple a tranny cooler and all, said the dyno before was around 158 or so and after was 171 at the wheels and said that he got about 2 mpg better, now it cost him about 450$ to do everything but if this is something that needs to be done anyways then it might be worth the extra money for the expensiv stuff.... he said he has a vid of the dyno and some dyno sheets he will look around and bring me when he finds them... i just wanted to see what yall think

did you noticed a difference at all, he said the wheel bearings made a difference in his coasting tests, he said on the same road he did a few pass from 55 and coasted from the same point each time, and the after the bearings said he could go 50+ feet or more eachtime

That sounds believeable from what I've read although some vehicles seem to do well and others not so well for a variety of factors. I'd just change upgrade stuff as it came around at maintenance time rather than the whole lot at once.

THE MOST DIFFERENCE IVE NOTICED WAS THE tranny cooler, followed by the fan conversion, followed by the intake mod
in that order
still havent done exhaust

I was watching Trucks on Spike, they had a last gen Dodge Ram, replaced all the fluids in everything with synthetic, and they found a decent amount of horsepower from just fluid changes, i want to say around 10 but that was a while ago. I could easily see this happening.
