the only dislikes i have about the color is IT BLENDS IN!!!! i walk out of target or walmart and every other car is silver... i had a blue car before this and it stood out like a sore thumb.but once im "done" with my x it will also stand out like a sore thumb

Get something that sticks up. Like a Loadwarrior roof basket or a CB antenna. I can always find mine in a partking lot, cause I can see my rack, tire, and CB antenna over all the other cars and trucks in the lot. Plus you'll have a Cb or a real basket to carry gear in.

i cant decide whether or not o want a roof basket for the spare or not. im thinking how much of a pain to get it down if i get a flat...

Nice! Like the name too. Yeah man, I never have a hard time identifying mine either because it is ALWAYS the tallest vehicle in the parking lot. Once your suspension mod list is done, then you will have no trouble finding it.

you coul always get a ladder from Gobi like I did? or just hurl it off the roof and hoep it doesnt bounce and hit your X. lol

it was covered for a week realizing the mud wasnt all mud.... seeing as i was in a farm field so i washed it. 2 weeks later i covered it again. and thats how i find mine in lots too. but it will be a lot easier once i get the lights.

Mine does not have the side moldings either, I think it's an XE thing. I knd of like it better without them though.

ok so im ordering my lights today. i couldnt find them at autozone so they should come next week cant wait too put them on!

one of my worries is trying to figure out where to put the switch. decisions decisions...

Where are you planning to mount the lights? If on the front, I would put the switches near the firewall, and that would be the same for the roof lights. There's plenty of threads about how people have done their roof lights on here without drilling.

the lights are going on a piece of aluminum across the roof rack. and the switch is going on the dash some where...

my lights came last week. and i made the top bracket at work and i painted it. i got them up today! i dont have pictures yet but tomorrow be xpecting the pics! they look good cant wait to hear what you guys think!

I have to get my last pair put on the front and take a day and night picture somewhere when its dark. 8 lights has gotta look awesome from the front.

I have 4 Hellas on my front so with headlights and fog lights total....8 lights lol...they do light up the entire road nicely....haha....just wait til I get roof lights one day....the drivers will regret they took that road I was on at night....LOL

i have 4 on top but they aint hellas so they arnt as bright.. lOL but they will still piss someone off.. LOL

i dont like how i have it wired to 2 switches so im going to one switch. but i need a new switch fuse holders and i need thicker wire from what i understand. ive been told by a mechanic i can go 12 Ga. wire for all 4 lights. im not sure though these are 150 watt lights so i need some input on what to do.

ok i finally had the money to buy the parts to fix my lights. i got the new inline fuse and the switch. so in the next few weeks expect pics of my light pattern

so update on my x. it got too cold to fix my lights, i have a cb waiting for an antenna. i got some new tires and the rims are on there way! warn manual locking hubs are going to be ordered next week. and i need new shocks.whats are good shocks for my x and i might be doing a pml im not sure yet.

as far as shocks go, from what i hear, bilsteins will mae your X ride like a cadilac. i have ranchos though, and i really like em.
if you plan on doing a pml, go ahead and get the shocks that are meant for an X w/ a SL.

im probably going to get ranchos but im not sure if i want to do the pml 1st or the bl lift first so we will see

I see your head liner is coming down. Check my DIY fix using 1/2 inch wire loom. Works well and doesn't look bad either.
