: problem with the quick reply
USC Justice 05-27-2006, 07:26 AM I don't know if it's because of the version of IE that I'm using (7.0 beta), but anytime I try to use the quick reply to a thread, it kinda freezes up and won't finish loading. on the bottom left corner of the screen it says error on page. I then hit refresh on the screen and it shows the post I was making.
probably just me with the trying of new software before it's released to everyone.

I always click on "qoute" then say what I want.
P.S. Take it from an engineer " never use Beta software" can you say guinea pig?
I will deny ever having said that :)
USC Justice 05-27-2006, 10:33 AM The only reason I'm really playing with the Beta version other than the fact that it's much cooler than IE6 is because the IT department at my office wanted someone who knows enough to describe problems intelligently to play with it, as they would over analyze it they say.
By the way which kind of Engineer are you? I had two ME's as college roommates (one is my best friend) and had a Comp Eng also as a roomie.

Drake 03-23-2008, 05:47 PM I have trouble with it too and I've been having it for as long as I can remember. I don't even bother with it anymore. I just do it the old fashioned way. hahaha

richiebowen 03-25-2008, 11:17 AM From a technical standpoint internet explorer 7 is an issue for many applications that use it. I work for symantec and we recommend that people do not upgrade to 7 if they have not done so already.
