: Awww crap I'm addicted...

After owning my truck and being nice to it for a whole year by not modding ANYTHING besides a CD player...I got my new shackles in the mail last Thursday, and last night started my PML.

And today I finished the PML after buying a 1/2 inch drill bit to bore out the bottoms of the leaf springs... Here's the after.
After:

I thought, why the heck not... and removed my running boards and mud flaps. I really like the look of it, looking for bigger tires (31s or 32s) as we speak.

Then... I thought why not remove those dumb intake baffles. I yanked them all out (the last one was super easy... i guess my truck is 8 years old now). I ran to the hardware store, picked up the plugs, and stopped by Napa and picked up MAF cleaner and a K&N filter. Its a little louder, which I like, and I really feel a little HP boost. So now I'm addicted and next is bigger tires and painting the stock rims black. Anyone got big tires for sale?

Cragar Soft 8's are what he's running and on www.summitracing.com, they run about $40 or $45 a piece IIRC. Summit and Discount Tire Direct also has probably the best tire prices. I prefer Summit though because of cheaper shipping.

Man I suck at this... what size would I need to run 31/10.5/15 tires? I know xterra's bolt pattern is a 6x140 or so...how does this compare to standard sizes. Offset? I need to do more research.

Bolt pattern: 6 x 5.5
bore diameter: 4"
stock backspacing is 5.5" but with lifts and trimming you can go less. I run 4.75 BS on my other rims and I know Tuff runs 3.5" but trimming and rubbing are not a concern of his. lol

Bolt pattern and backspacing are your two most important.

i actually got the deal of the century on these. Still can't believe it. Some guy needed to get rid of these on Ebay. All 4 tires and rims $380 Shipped. Brand new not even mounted. The back spacing was wrong for his Tacoma and the rim was rubbing the caliper so he just said f it and put them up for auction. Drake is correct for the dimentions but the rims are Pacers 297B 15x8.
