I just got in from Kansas City a little bit ago and what do I see on my porch but a present from Santa Claus... a.k.a. the UPS man.
It is my brand new set of SLR upper control arms! These things are friggin' rock solid. Zerks and bushings and ball joints already installed. Again... a damn shame a careless son railroads his father's company and drags the family name through the mud but I must say, this is some top-notch stuff and I can't believe I found a brand new set. Oddly enough, bought from the same guy that sold me my 2" BL kit a long time ago. hahaha
Now I'm torn as to what I want to do. Do I want to go with the full 3" lift or do I want to keep the PML height and gain the extra wheel travel? I always thought I wanted the 3" SL but after wheeling with Tuff several times and seeing the flex he gets out of his, it really made me rethink things.
So keep an eye out for an update to my X-Ray 2 thread in the coming months!
I also received my knife back from Benchmade. I had sent it off to be repaired and resharpened under warranty. This baby opens like a switch-blade now and cuts like a razor.
Got my official paperwork from Tread Lightly as well and they even sent me this cool little L.E.D. flashlight/compass/whistle thing. hahaha
