What's up fellas? I currently have a Cobra WX ST II (or something like that, it's the same one that James has) and I love how its single din size allows me to mount it in the dash. But I want something with a PA. So I come to you all for help, does any one know of a single din sized CB with a PA function?

I have Cobra 19 DXIII Compact Mobile.

It has PA function because I have a PA system in my X.

No...I have it mounted on the side of the shifter, kinda like Drake's CB. I'll look up the link for Drake's CB mount....Its more simple and out of the way and easier to hide the wires.

Both are Dash Mounted.

mine isnt quite a single din size though....its kinda a beast.
i was hoping to mount it where i think you were talking about...with the headunit right? not like mine on top of the dash, you mean like actually in the dash?
i actually really like mine where it is...it doesnt block visibility at all, its low enough that it just blocks me looking at the passenger side of my hood.

Yes, I was talking about inside the dash rather on top of it. I also have a Cobra 148 GTL and that thing is freaking massive.

the cobra 19 should be able to go in the dash.. i have that cb but i havent mounted it yet...

That is my one gripe with the 18.

Man, I am trying to think of a way that I can dissect the CB and add a PA.

And as for the cobra 19, you should be able to get a single din stereo (I have one for sale if you are interested) and a "pocket" that fits under it. Install that all the way and then trim the pocket so that the 19 slips in there.

i was looking at my dash and the cb and i dont think mine is going to fit in the slot under the radio... i will take some pics when i can so yall kan make some suggestions....
