OK, so I know i said i was going to start with painting all the bumpers and tinting the lights but all this rain has made me move inside. SO this is whats on deck. I new Eclipse AVN 5435 Touchscreen navigation, DVD head unit. I got a good deal on it because it's a discontinued model and a buddy of mine found it in the back of the car shop he works at, SWEET! I purchased new Alpine Type R 6x9's for the back, New Alpine Type R 5 1/4 for the doors. Waiting for all of it to come in to do it all at once on my days off from work. I am thinking about getting Two Alpine Type R 10's with a ROCKFORD FOSGATE 1000 watt mono pushing those. Most of my friends run type R's so they all talked me in to all the Alpines. The head unit and speaker install will be done once i get it all in and have time off to get it done. The subs will be in the next few weeks so i can get the box started. i am planing on building it myself. What i am looking to do is a fiberglass enclosure with either a layer of carbon fiber over the top just to get the look or i will airbrush something crazy. We will see! Once i get it started i will post pictures of the everything i get done.

i think the fosgate 1000watt amp might be a over kill but it will sound sweet... the reason i say that is i have a 400 or a 500 watt fosgate amp pushing 2 fosgate p2's and they hit real hard and the amp isnt even turned up all the way....

because the more watts you have the more you can bragg durrr. lol

that dosent mean you can do it... if you put to much watts to the speaker you will blow them.... think about what you say before you post it up thanks..

Yeah, the new P2's are rated at 50-200 watts RMS and 500 max each. The Type R's are rated at 200-500 watts RMS and 1500 watts max each. I just want to know that when homeboy rolls up next to me trying to bass, so every one can here him, I can throw in some Disturbed and blow him away! Its like running nitrous you don't use it all the time just when you really need it! :feuerkopf-big: But i will look into it a little more so i don't have to replace subs all the time! Thanks for the heads up!

I'm taking the x to an audio shop to have some stuff install next week.

They keep trying to sell me the competition 2000watt system for like $4k. LOL

Thats what I meant about the bragging comment. My buddy went an had that installed in his expedition. Its sounds so shitty with everything rattling.

and all the wiring and install totaling for 525 cash,
paid another 25 to have my dvd navi brain installed, that was free cuz my uncle is a car dealer and he gave it to me, he didnt kno what it was,
