Does anyone have one or know about them? I have a convertible and I need to remove the blown ass speakers in the side panels. I have not had any luck on the Toyota Forum....I think everyone who signed up over there might be dead...
I need to know how to remove the interior panels to get the new speakers in. I would also like to know how to remove the rear bumper.
Thanks for your help guys!!:wink-big:

Should be able to find a couple of caps that come off with a flathead screwdriver, and a screw that comes off with a phillips. Once you get that off, you should be able to slide your fingers into and along the perimeter, and pull out at the same time.

it looks to me like your gonna have to remove the entire side pannel to access the speakers. probally not too tough to do. just a few clips and probally a screw or 2.

Just trying to figure out where the screws are.....this thing has no visible screws anywhere! Should I just start pying the thing off? I do not want to scratch or mess the panel up.:aufkopfhauen-big:

So, I got the new Alpine speakers in........and in the process, I figured out there was an 8in sub behind the seat under the convertible....this was actually the speaker that was blown. What a POS.
So I have a new project on my hands.
I will post up some pics of what I did this weekend when I get home..
The job was really easy, it already sounds 100% better..........since I disconnected the shit sub and got the new 6 1/2's in.

just replace the sub with some thing else now

I will....but the lil POS plastic box Toyota has in there is so shallow. There is only room for an 8in that is 3 1/2 in or less mounting depth. The cheap way to go would be to simply find a sub to replace that one....but at that depth it is hard. I may go with a powered sub, in the trunk...instead.
