OK let me start off by saying! WHAT A F***** TRIP! it was soo bad ass, thankd to steve and the other guys for making it work out and helpin me and jeff get up there!

now lets move on

my x did horrible why?: well first of all BALD tires, second of all 4 banger, that basically says it all, it was alot of fun and i kno i need to get some new tires for out there, however i did get thru one of the mudholes on my own.

man for u guys who couldnt make it u missed on ALOT OF fun and u need to go next time. the best part was the first part where i shot steve's friend with the water gun lol..

The 2nd gens have huge wheel wells and I think close to a 32" is the stock size and I was reading somewhere this morning that with what they call a "melt mod" you can clear 33's. That "melt mod" is somewhere here on this board. It's basically a small trimming of the wheel well plastic.

when i get to the tire place, what is the # that i supposed to ask for??

32 x 11.5 x (wheel size) is a common size in an A/T or M/T tire. As for metrics, I'm not sure because it will depend on your wheel size.

Drake, is a pml possible on a 2nd gen? If it is, the I would recomend that you do that Jeff! You saw the clearance that it gave us.

holding up great man, im going to wash the x now, i even pushed a lil water onto them and they are doing great!

There's not a true PML for the 2nd gens but I think a combination of lift shackles and coil spacers provide a "pml" type lift versus a full 3"+ kit. They definitely don't have the option of the $65 pml. I'm thinking theirs is more like $200 but I could be wrong... I mean it's happened to me before. lol

Jeff, I know a guy that has the coil over spacer for sale for only $75. All you would need then is the rear shackles.

It's custom pinstriping! :mocking:

If the scratches aren't too deep into the clear coat, a lightweight or medium rubbing compound will get the majority of them out.

would turtle wax work? man some of those trails were real real tight,

I use a combination of turtlewax rubbing compound and then wax it afterwards. Waxing will take out some of the really light stuff but you'll need a rubbing compound to get the deeper clearcoat scratches. Adding a wax job on top of it will give it a bit more protection from future "pinstriping" as well.

Last time I did a full buff/wax job on my X, it took my over 7 hours. But I'm also OCD when it comes to stuff like that. lol

Whoa, this place is only about an hour and a half or so from home! Definitely post it up when you head out to this trail again, I'd love to ride it.
