Ok, For those of you who are intrested, it's official. We have a gathering of X's that are going for a day run in Osceola on July 22nd. This will be an all day affair. We are planning on meeting in Orange Park around 8am and caravaning to Osceola. This trip will require a 4X4. If you want to go and have a 2wd, that's cool, there will be enough people there to accomidate you.

Yes, it will be just a day trip. We are going to meet up @9am. I have been talking to others and they say your 2wd can make it through. We have recovery vehicles so don't worry. We will wheel untill we get tired and leave from there that afternoon. Just meet us at the campground. You can reach me on my cell 904-234-3563 if you need.

Don't wory, it will be an event! I recomend walmart for the waders, always cheap. Sorry it's gonna be on a teusday, but that's when the trail leaders are going to be able to go. I've never been there and am still a novice, so I wouldn't feel comfortable leading here. Next time we will do a run on a weekend so more people can go.

I told them that the only way I could start on monday was to have teusday off and that I have another off road outing in Oct 8-12 that I had to attend. ok here's the directions.....
For those coming up from Tampa or Orlando come up I-75 north to Lake City. Get off the exit at U.S. 90. Head EAST on U.S. 90 and head towards Osceola National Forest. You will continue on U.S. 90 East for approx 16 miles or so till you get to CR-250A, you can only make a left here so take it and head up till you see us on the side of the road a few miles ahead. If you are coming from down south make sure you fill up around the Lake City area before you get to us.

We will be at the Ocean Pond area around 9:30am
