I all, this is my first post btw. I just had to get on here to ask if any one else has this prob. My best friend and I just took a trip to Utah from Reno, NV and more than 50% of the cars at night flashed there headlights at me, as if I had my brights on. But alas I did not. If the turned on there brights I would turn mine on, thus causing them to turn theres off! Its an 03 X, I bought it used, and this was my first big trip, The dealership told me to get use to it, that Nissan truck headlights are just really bright. And since the way the headlight are designed even if he adjusted them down they would still be bright to other drivers. So do any of you have this prob? Is there something I could do? Thanks. Other than that it is AWESOME!!!

I know on my 05 it has projection headlights, thus making them bright as hell, im not sure about the 03 though. they should have some kinda headlight cover out for that year. thats the best i can come up with. btw- Welcome:)

If I have, and usually do, have 150 t0 200lbs of cargo, it squats the back end down and I wind up playing the brighteyes game with everybody also............I am considering the add a leaf spring kit for 150.00

ps I have 04 X

My 02 is just the opposite. I think our headlights are too dim. Especially on high beam. The fog lights help, but not enough.

i get flashed in my 04 all the damn time, i got the piaa xtreme whites tho, not that much brighter but they are a peircing white, its great when peeps flash you cuz they think you have your hibeams on, then you get to show them what bright is! you can adjust the level of them, maybe they are too high, my truck is lifted so i had to re-adjust them. here's how

DRIVING
LIGHTS Typically, driving lights are mounted above the front bumper about 14-30 inches from the ground to provide extra high beam illumination. Driving lights can be mounted below the bumper, although they will not be as effective because the light will hit the ground sooner and reduce the range of the light.
Visual aim is made with the center of the beam hot spot 1.5 inches below the lamp center at 25 feet with the lamp facing straight forward
