This may seem odd, but running is my favorite sport to play. I'm not the fastest runner but I do make it to the finish line. I'm currently training for my first half marathon in early December, which in South Florida will probably be about hot and muggy.

Football used to be my favorite, but now I don't like playing tackle because I feel like an old man and don't want work to be difficult. Now I'm more into tennis and have been thinking about getting a set of golf clubs

Wow scary how similar...

I started playing Lacrosse in middle school and continued through college. I usually played crease/right defense and sometimes long stick middie on face offs. Furthermore I'm all about downhill biking....

Only thing is, I don't play basket ball.

Keyz18
09-29-2008, 12:33 PM
That sucks bro, at least here, there's a outdoor league for 18yr and up. Most of the teams are sponsored by local shops like Kavu and pubs/bars, etc. You should pioneer something like that in your local area. I bet you'll find a lot of people looking for a chance to play again!

Soccer in high school, and intramural soccer in college, still go kick around with friends at the park every now and then.
Getting into golf now. Never played a sport I sucked at as bad as golf, but it's strangely relaxing. Decent exercise too, if you walk the course.

Played roller hockey and softball recreationally for many years but now just playing basketball for the cardio and the competition. In my 40's and can still touch the rim (I am 6'). I played with some older guys from time to time and they have kept me motivated to stay with it. It keeps you in good shape.
