Well i have decided im going to put a 7" screen where my head unit is now, and replace my headunit with an aftermarket and stick it in the slot where the VDC and other options are located(i just have vdc switch there). where can i relocate the switch too and do i really even need it.

If it's just a switch you can mount it anywhere with amble room, might have to extend the wiring on it.

Put it near the power mirror switch...there should be two blanks there, unless you have an Off-Road with the clutch override.
