This is a pain in the ass. The indicator goes off when it is cold in the rockies. The pressure should be at 35lbs when cold. No problem but it is like 30 degree's in the morning, but around 50 degree's or 60 sometimes in the day. So my censor is going nuts. I am trying to disable the indicator any suggestions?...

oya it is a 05 S.

P.S Welcome newbie's. Rocky Mountain High.

I used to get the same thing with my Titan.
I wound up just having to keep them aired just a little higher during the winter. Hasnt hurt anything so far. Just enought to keep the sensor from going off.

I have an 05 SE. Its been around that temp here in NY and mine hasnt gone off yet (assuming I have it...)

What these sensors typically do is determine which wheel is spinning slower than the others and then determines that wheel is low in pressure. Thats the way it is on my wife's 99 Regal, and yes, it is a PITA, (especially with a women driver who freaks out when she sees the low tire warning light turn on on her dash. )

I was seriously thinking about popping out the bulb for that light, (that one & the oil change reminder) but when I saw that this would involve a serious amount of dash disassembly, I quickly forgot that idea.

I already have a 35 gal. air compressor so its not hard to keep up the tire pressure on all 3 cars. But I can see it being a nuisance to those who have to hit the gas station everytime your sensors freak out.

**Remember cars before 1980, when you only had to check the air once a year?? :) :)
