Will 22" rims help out a lot on gas mileage? 31/10.50 all terrain with factory wheels is on currently, and my gas mileage SUCKS!!:fan-big:

Larger wheels will not help but smaller tires and better street tires can help a little. You are already running about as small as I would go though.

Best thing to do is stay off the skiny peddle. Keep to the speed limit and you will be shocked at how good your gase mileage will be.

I thought this was a joke. When I had my civic I went from 14s to 15s (rims w/chrome in 1999). I could tell the difference it made the car slower. I would take the chrome wheels off if I was doing a long road trip. I will never buy chrome again.

Normally larger tires effect gas mileage negatively... for OPTIMUM mileage use the size that comes from the factory... and don't go with a heavy metal rim... like g was saying, they bog you down.

if your mileage is sucking you may want to look into changing out your fuel filter or getting a fuel system service to clean out the carbon build up in the throttle body... I had a Sunfire I did that too and it ran like a new car...

Just a thought :) I don't know what kind of mileage you have on yours.
