Day Two: cool house built into the side of the mountain to look like an actual Native American's

Stupid rock on the right side kept causing my tire to slide and pushed me towards the boulder

Stock suspension almost fully flexed! Yeah the four door high centered but luckily it had sliders (picture through the front windshield sorry about the glare)

Huge scorpion about the size of a man's hand, my brother ran over actually in the picture above and somehow it snuck into the tread and didnt get crushed, then it kept trying to hide from the sun by crawling back under the back of the tire everytime he moved a little bit.

Day 2 Trip 3 outside of an old movie set

This is my dads 07 JK with Poly Performance 4" lift w/ 35" toyo's and full warn front end, rocksolid backend with jerry cans and all the goods! Including a tuffy box in the back and rack on top of that. Seriously this thing has around 20 grand invested but yet my dad keep's getting upset that I have followed him every where! He now admits that he is shocked how versatile the xterra is especially stock...

My IPF lights on front blinded the camera when I took the picture =/ it looks cool with all 6 lights on...

Knowing my dad he wont be satisfied with these KC lights until he gets some HID's

A little oasis we found earlier that day, found a frog and had a nice little break from the almost 100 degree weather.

I told him to paint the jerry can's to match, 20 bucks later and it looks a lot better then just solid green.

And just to finish after the 785 mile trip both my brother and my dad are shocked to find one all the 3 to 4 rated trails (scale 1 to 5, 5 being hardest) we did I only high centered once and it was a tiny bump. Not to mention a few hitch scrapes but that doesnt count since that can easily be removed when the shrock gets here.

My brother is totally converted he is seriously thinking twice about his jeep, he kind of wants to get an xterra. We figured I have 4 more inch of wheel base then my dad's 2 door and about 6 inches less then my brothers 4 door. with about same overhang but I actually have 2 inches more clearance with same size tires.

My dad is just too stubborn but I dont blame him, how could you after how cool that jeep looks and all the money and time invested. But he admits if he could do it all over again he would with and X, a yellow one of course. Anyways hope you enjoyed!

Oh and PS "jeep's are awesome but there not the only offroading capable vehicles"

No it's 4wd, I wouldnt settle for a 2wd when I bought it because my last truck was and its absolutely horrible during winter around my part of town. But thanks for the reply's I love moab I cant wait to go back.

lol do you mean like no cap just the black hub? Cause I have no idea just when I bought this it came with though wheels stock, hubs and all... And I am trying to find another matching one so I can use it as my spare.

does it mean that i could use closed hubcaps , ala kuma, on my 2000 se 4wd? i would like to do that. my hub civers have kinda peeled off, so i would like to cover them.

also, kuma, what did you use to do your wheels? i want the same effect. did you use a bedliner spray paint?

Yeah I am sure you can! I dont think the hub's sit any different on the covered ones. You should definitely give it a try though... Yeah I used the Duplicolor Bedliner its great! I just took a sponge and some water yesterday and all the dirt and grime came right off! Just make sure to sand them down! I did my back ones quicker then my front and theres some edges I missed and 1 chip that happened so I am planning on redoing them, but my front are perfect and hold up soooooo well! I love the look too!
