I do most of the basic preventative maintenance on my '07 as I can. I now have 12k on it and am wondering about lubing any necessary parts. Anyone know what to lube, when to lube it, and what type of lube to use? I am just a basic DIY. Please help.

I HAVE 2 GREASE GUNS
one with slick50 grease
one with mobil1 construction equiment heavy duty grease
i grease everythign thats sealed with the slick50 and all things not sealed(like UCA knuckles, turn stops, shackles) with the thick heavy duty mobil1

So again what needs to be greased? Ball joints, U-joints, bearings? And do they have fittings on them?

F14, i dunno about yours man, ive never gotten down and dirty under a 2nd gen
as for the 1st gen, the only grease fittings i have are on my aftermarket upper control arms

On the 1st gen there is a grease fitting (not a standard zirk though) on the propeller shaft. That's the only one I know of for a stock X.

You didn't know your X was a pretty capable watercraft as well? It does it all!
Actually, it's the front drive shaft.
