I am hoping someone can tell me the answer to this? I have a 2002 X with 167759 miles on it. The front end is starting to sag on the driver's side. I think it is a shock problem, but I am not sure if it has shocks or struts on the front end. I hope it is shocks, they are a lot cheaper. Please tell me. You guys haven't let me down before.

You X doesnt have struts it has a odd Torsion bar system (well odd if you dont know what it is, i remember looking under my X the first time thinking WTF!!)

Anyways what you need to do is adjust your torsion bars to lift it back up, there is a write up in the how-to section.. Its free to do no parts required so dont worry about a cost :)

I have an 04 X with 37,000 mi on it. Had to changed the rear shocks, they were shot ! Back end was bouncing up and down every time I hit the brakes or gas. I bought new fronts as well.Front end a little bouncy,, Havent put them in yet. Going to do that today. My thought was...If I had to change the back, I might as well change the front one and be done with it...
