I received my 3rd brake light cover from Todd. I came to the website looking for the DIY thread. I couldn'y find it anywhere. I logged in to post a question if I had lost my mind or if got poofed on " Black Thrusday " last week. Then, there it was. I logged out, it was gone. Logged back in, it was there. You guys are great for creating threads that are only available to members!

i hid our write-up/how to section from non members, its basically our members hard work/painstakingly detailed write ups, and there was a risk of it being ripped off and plagerized by a disgruntled ex-member that would have claimed it as their own
i suppose ill let you members decide if we shoudl keep it hidden or unhide it

of course everything else on the site is at the same risk, but i figured our how to sections was the most valuable and should be considered a perk for members only

We are glad you like it and thanks for the compliment. It may hurt or deter potential new members but to me, having access to the wealth of info and knowledge here is a perk that should be enjoyed by only the members and not your casual "surfers".

We want people who aren't scared of commitment! hahaha

Well you could always unhide them and if "another" forum opens up taking credit for them we can flood that forum with posts about how they are stolen and how the members should join CX :)

Personally Im fine with the hidden content.

I mean, come on, its free to join CX. You have no real commitment. You don't even have to EVER post. I say go with what you think is right Mods, you haven't let us down yet :)

Todd, it was very simple. The only thing thast was different, was mine didn't have the ruber gasket around it like the second pictur in your DIY thread. Directions couldn't have been easier.
