Hey There.
Recently recued an 2000 Aztec Red XTerra XE 4X2 from the wilds of Eastern Tennesee where it was being raised by french fry eating dingos.
The vehicle was literally packed with Happy Meal sacks full of McNuggets and burgers and whatnot that had to be at least six months old...Windows caked with tar from cigarette smoke (and I ain't talkin about Marlboro's). Various minor mechanical problems (2 power windows not operating, missing first aid kit, heavily stained carpet..blahblahblah).
Back when Xterras were new I was living in Washington state and doing a lot of snowboarding and I thought to myself "Man I need that...not too little and not too much...That XTerra thingie is the ride for ME!" Alas a new vehicle was not in the cards.
So I moved back down south and back in 2003 I decided to get a new vehicle and I was torn between a Sentra SE-R Spec and an XTerra...I went with the Spec.
Last week the X basically fell in my lap and I haven't drove the Spec since...Of course we cleaned out the burgers and weed, detailed it,slapped the neoprene seat covers on it to cover up the burns in the seat...I still love the Spec but there's a new kid on the block. :D
