Hi all,
Looks to me like a budding xterra forum. Cool. Are some of you also on xterraownersclub.com? Well, I'm from the west coast in California...I don't do much off-roading. I just like the security of the X for my family and the ability to drive over things when needed like speedbumps or steep driveways without worrying about bottoming out. I had an '04, but traded it in for an '05 maxima, but under certain circumstances, I was able to get an '05 Xterra. Love the increase in power and the additional leg and head room. I got an S version, but I pretty much modded it up to an SE without the extra $2000, but I do long for the front fold-down passenger seat. I have 2WD, but it seems like I missed out with the 4WD. My rationale, I'm not going to go offroad so why pay extra, but I might be regretting it when I go up to snow country or the weather condition gets a little slicker. Well bye for now and I'll be checking in frequently.
