yeah he was. with the angle that his tires and his truck was facing, he was venturing into the rolling over situation. it wasnt a ridiculous situation, but it was fun pulling him up and out.

i might be missing something here but couldnt he just make a hard left to get out?? it doesnt look that steep, but maybe its just the pics..

yeah its the pics. his tires were facing passenger and whenever we turned them left it would start tipping more.

No, it looks like he teetered, panicked, and got pulled out.
A hard left and then KEEP MOVING straight down the hill traveling in line with the slope, and he could not have rolled.
He merely mistook the initial unsteadiness for an impending roll.

I see it all the time spotting newbies.
They SWEAR they'll roll over if they keep going, and I convince them to do it anyway, and it straightens out again...because it HAS To in that scenario...its physics.

Its just ALWAYS scarier from IN the truck...it ALWAYS feels worse than it is when you're inside.
You do not get to learn that until you've been there, done that, and pulled the seat upholstery back out of your butt crack.
