What's up people

Just looking around the Web and lookie here a new X forum.

Quick Hello

Live in VT and work in the US.

I drive an 05 OR 4x4 6M/T that I picked up July 05.

Mods include
Roof Hellas
BFG 33" A/Ts
Shrock Sliders and Bumper
Day Star 2" lift
Hi-lift Jack
Airaid Cold Air intake
Shrock skids on order
MM Winch ( trying to figure out what I really need an 8000 or a 9500?)

I spend a fair amount of time in the NJ/NY area. My home office is in Kenilworth, NJ about 30 min outside of NYC ( If I drive at 4am).

Hope to meet up with some of you at some point.

Welcome aboard! Are you going to get the Shrock bumpers? Im pretty sure on getting the rear as soon as they're done...

I'm kinda holding off on the rear bumper.

Got a little carried away with the mods and need to put $$ away for a down payment on a house.

With the skids on the way and looking at a winch and still needing some recovery gear. I think that might be it for a while.

I did go with a receiver Shackle so I have a rear tow point.

Who knows maybe I'll work another 100+ hr week and order it up.

Well, as for me, Since 3 days after I bought the X, I backed into one of those 3 foot hight poles in a parking lot & dented the rear bumper, Im looking at the new rear bumper. Also because it looks really cool with those clevis shackles on it...:)

The front bumper looks bad ass too, but at $700.00 bux, It migh be a little rich for my blood. Especially for something that will just be eye candy for me.

When I had my celica. My plans were to totally rice it out LOL Till i found out how expensive it is to do that! The only things I did were, change out the dome light, changed the antenna to an S2000 antenna and changed my peddals. Everything else was too expensive. Also we were saving up for our wedding, and then after that, we saved up for our house, now we're planning on having a baby. I think your life just becomes something more important then the car you drive ya know?

It's not really that life revolves around a car, but it's nice to have toys.

When I was young I use to race R/C cars (on a national level) and one of the sayings then was, "He who dies with the most toys wins". I didn't toally understand it at the age of 12, but now I am trying to make sure that if I don't win, I come in a close second. ;)

Thanks for the welcomes.

Ya VT = Vermont

I spend NO time up there though. Last year I spent over 300 days on the road.

So trying to find time to go wheeling is tough. I keep missing the good trips with the Nexterra and UNYX clubs by a day or 2.

Thanks again and see you around the forum
