I have a secret feeling that I need to let out. For those that dont know, I have an 05 X SE. I also have a 350Z.

I have recently started feeling like I prefer driving the X over the Z. Maybe its the new car smell, or maybe its the xtra room... I dont know.

I just mentioned it to my wife & told her (hypothetically) I was thinking of getting rid of the Z and she said "Are you fucking crazy?" (we drove 460 miles upstate NY to buy this car)

So I still love driving my car, but I have a boner for my X. :)

A sports car is fun but a man needs a bigger vehicle. Well I know I do at least. Heck I can't even get in a 350Z. LOL They dont make many cars I do fit in. Always been a truck man. 6' 6" and 300+ lbs means I need room.

Dude, you could fit in my car... Im 6'6'' and around 260 lbs - you'd be surprised at the amount of legroom there is.

If the weather is nice, I'll snap some pics of the interior today. :)

LOL My dad kinda went through the same thing. My parents got divorced and he felt like he needed to get a sports car. He got a new Camero at the time. After about a year HE HATED IT! It was hard for him to get in to and it just didn't fit his life style. He would go up to the mountains and ski. So the Camero wasn't really good for that. So he traded it in for another Ford Explorer (he had one before the camero too) he's just an SUV kinda guy!

Im kinda torn because I like to drive like Mario Andretti, but I really like the room of the X.

The Z has mad ass horsepower - 300 HP is pretty exhilirating.

But the X is nice & roomy inside. I dunno an I turning into an old fart?

Oh I forgot to tell you. White was a bad choice. I just got done cleaning all of the skuff marks off of the truck. White shows up everything. Its almost as bad as having a black car.

Anyways Im still keepin both cars. I never know what kinda mood Ill wake up with tomorrow.:)

LOL.. you're so indecisive, John. :)

Keep both, the Z is a fun nice weather drivin through the country car, and the X is more practical.

I'm thinkin of buying one of the new BMW coupe (2 seater) sports cars, just for a fun vehicle to play with :)

I think I've bumped a couple of Z-cars, they're not really that fast out of the trap. Top end yea, but they have no low end grunt.

Have you ever driven a new 350Z?

0 to 60 is 5.4 seconds stock

No, what do they have for an engine? I've always been a big believer in HP via displacement, not rpm. There's nothing like a punched out 302 with a set of x-heads, F-cam and 11 lbs of boost.

300 HP naturally aspirated.

Go test drive one - just for fun. Youll be hooked.:)

Does that throttlebody get noisy when it pops open?!

Yes. but the whole engine is pretty much loud to begin with. Then I first put on the Injen and it got a little louder, and the the Borla true dual exhaust and it balanced the whole thing out pretty nicely.

I'm in the same boat. My X is an 05 off road. I also have a 01 mustang GT(dyno 345hp at the rear axle). The mustang is a riot to drive. It amazes me the number of kids in their souped up rice burning civic that think they can take it. They dont understand American Muscle. I think they have watched To Fast To Furious to many times. I love the way my X rides and handles - and unlike the Mustang it does not hurt to get in and out of it. I test drove a Z before I bought the Xterra. What a great car. Boofer you would be nuts to get rid of it.

Nah, I woulnt get rid of it unles it had major problems.

You're not kidding about the Civic ricers. But I gotta play devils advocate for a second. Thats the best they can afford. They're just doing the best with what they have.

+1 on the Fast & Furious movies. When the last one was playing, you could watch them when the movie let out. They were doing burnouts & racing each other out of the parking lot. I didnt see the movie, but noticed it because my fave pizza place is in the same strip.

I forgot to mention. My 17 year old has a 2001 Civic that he has souped up. At least he had the common sense to put on a flowmaster muffler that has the low tone. The ones that sound like lawn mowers drive me nuts.
