Another First! Provides 10 to 20% more cooling efficiency than the stock water pump. We have replaced the stock stamped steel 5-vane impeller with an 8-vane billet aluminum impeller to achieve this goal. The impeller is larger than the stock and lessens the cavitations of the coolant to create a more positive flow in the space between the impeller and the #1 cylinder. The dyno showed an additional bonus of 6 hp. and 2ft/lbs. of torque gain we weren't expecting. The horsepower gain comes from the impeller slicing through the coolant instead of paddling the coolant. Individual gains may very depending on what accessories are already in place and engine condition. Either way it is a worthy addition to any Jeep engine whether it's a street driver or an off-road rock crawler.



Currently they are only produced for jeeps but I have been in contact with the company and they say with enough interest they would happily produce them..

I dont want to list any company names because of the trouble that non-paying advertising has brought..

Just looking for input thought because I have never even seen the stock water pump so I am not sure how well of a mod this would be.. Keep in mind I DID have a couple of this companies cooling products on my jeep and let me tell you I noticed more efficient cooling along with better throttle response..

Exactly! This is what sets us apart from other clubs. Our members don't/shouldn't have to fear asking a question because they don't know or understand something.

I mean think back, I know I can and I bet you can think back to the day you first started learning about your Xterra. If I dug back through forums far enough, I'm sure I can find a post or 20 that would make me laugh now.

To me in simple terms I can understand, you can look at it like this, a vehicle has 3 hearts and it can't function without all 3 hearts. The fuel pump, the oil pump and the water pump. If any of those fail, the vehicle dies. This water pump claims to be more efficient due to a knew impeller design. The stock impeller would be like powering a boat by oars. Really abrupt pulses and surges of coolant through the motor. This design would be like a boat with a propeller driven motor. Smoother consistent movement which means more efficient cooling of the coolant (water) which in turn cools the engine more efficiently.

If I posted "I dont know" on everything I didnt know I would have a couple thousand posts by now....
