1. New black 4 window vent shades.
2. New Grill Guard,black.
3. New H.I.D. fog lights mounted on the Grill Guard(black).
4. New H.I.D. Blue head lights/8500k Xenon/Krypton.
5. New 10 led Amber turn/drive/emeg flasher, lights in the lower open valance rectangle holes (custom mounted).
6. New full black bra/mask. mfg by nissan.
7. New custom made red/white c/x logo on frnt of wind deflector.12" wide by 4" tall.
8. New custom made top rack logos L/R,Silver.(Xterra Xtreme) 36" long by 1.75 tall.
9. New front grill nissan emblem Chrome.
10. New (2) custom nissan emblems for left and right side of doors.
11. New black epoxy paint on, Grill.
12. New black epoxy paint on, bumper,lower vallance, and fender wings.
13. New black epoxy paint on front mud guards.
14. New black epoxy paint on rear bumper, top step plate and rear mud guards.
15. New black epoxy paint on front wind deflector.
16. New black epoxy paint on cargo rack.With red/white custom C/X logo on the back.
17. New black epoxy paint on entire top rails and cross beams.
18. New black epoxy paint on L/R lower full length step rails..
19. New 18" #4 C/X logo on the back window,Silver.
20. New trailer hitch and receiver.

The stock color of this X is desert carmel (flat tan) with a highgloss finish.
It is a 2001 Xterra with a 4 cyl engine and 5 speed manny. It has a 2nd engine in with just under 20,000 miles on it. The body has 132,000 on it.

Total cost for all the mods: $475.00

Just rippin' bro... looks really good. The other day I was on the military base here and passed an X in that color. That makes 2 I've seen like that. I'm still hunting for the elusive "Atomic Orange" X's though. I dig those a lot.

Keep it up man... You've got a good start to the project so far.

how do you work with epoxy paint?? any info on the process would be appreciated!! Also how well do you expect it to hold up??

Chris you can chek my photo gallery on this and I did a write up for others including yourself that want to give it a try...

The Epoxy will out last any thing on the market! If you take your time and the trick is to use lite coats... 2 to 3 then a final medium coat. You will have a mirror glass finish on smooth parts and a very nice satin finish on all embossed trim parts...

DONT WAX for at least 60 to 90 days.. I then use a carnuba and build a few layers to keep it looking new.. then wax twice a year.

This will give any 1st gen Xterra a brand new off the sales floor look!

anthonyfdz use krylon fusion paint it has been discussed and is better..

also in regards to his mods, what mods are you looking for in the list? we can point you in the right direction...

Thanks. I was actually just wondering about the Trailer Hitch, those HID lights, and the grill guard, but I don't think the grill guard will look good on my car, i'm not sure.

for the hitch go to www.etrailer.com and the brush guard is all up to you but be warned that it is highly discouraged in this community since it will cause more damage than good in a wreck.....

his HIDs are fake, he paid like $10 for a set of blue "hid" bulbs off ebay.. if you do a search for HID you will find a couple links to locations where members have bought a real set, including myself.. I ordered mine though a Mazda3 group buy for just over $100, normally I would not spend that little on HIDs but I know the seller and he a a VERY honest guy and when he says its a quality product I believe him...

also check craigslist for trailer hitches, I see them on there all the time..
