yes its a very clean engine.... can u tell me how much u think this things is worth? 2004 x base model 5 speed manual everything...? bought with 40,000 miles?

So whered you get your antenna from?

Auto Zone... for some reason i was thinkin i had to replace the whole antenna and the housing and rerun the wires to the radio... but they have this pack that is just the antenna and it has 3 screws, different for every car, so i just unscrewed the antenna an replaced it with this one.. i reall like it.. and when u go overlike 50 it starts to tilt back.. but any auto shop should have then.. I mean its $5, so if u cant find it ill ship u one!

My wife has a 4x2 Xterra as well. I put a PML on hers. She loves it! But she's got the V6 in hers. It's actually faster than my X on the pass, but that's at like 13k'. You'd think my S/C would smoke hers, just don't happen.

So i put 2 lights on the bar on the back of the rack today, plus bought a cb radio..any one have pics of where there antenna goes? i boughta 60 inch one..the 102 was too big.

For those who don't have shrock bumpers and the like, usually they are mounted with a "door jamb" mount on the back hatch. It mounts on the inside of the door jamb and the antenna mount comes out of the seam.

You may try searching on here for "cb mounts" and see if anything comes up. Somebody posted a pic of a "door jamb mount" but I can't remember who it was or where they posted it.

put the fog lights in... ONE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY ARE LOOSE IN THERE> are they any clamps or something to hold them down.? i pulled these off a 03 se...so i did my own wiring and put my own switch in..

Answers: I did the tweets in the ac vent cuz i dont have room on my door or anything liek that..i saw one that someone did i really didnt like it no offense. so i put them in my ac vent..its very easy..the x is a open and easy to work with car..u just run the tweets to ur wire harness for the 2 front speakers..

and in regards to the radar..it only works on some cops..but it has saved me a couple times. IT WILL WORK with state troopers i know that but thats if they have their radar on.

homemade CAI = FREE!!!! (again, thanks to James. involves removing your resonators and baffle and that's it pretty much)

There is a DIY for it but that only applies to the V6 the 4cyl has the old s#!tty type which is why i replaced it completely

The PML was my first mod and it took me 2 hours including all of my smoke breaks and hunting tools. hahaha It's really simple.

The body lift is a bit more tricky. Mainly because it's time consuming and you have to be patient and will require a friend or two to help. It's not that it is hard to do because it's really not, it's just very involved. Nothing to get intimidated by though. I think 7 or 8 hours is the norm for a first timer but some of the crew here could slap one on in 2 I'm sure.

That's for the lift shackles which you will replace your stock ones with and to lift the front is just a matter of cranking your torsion bars. Simple as that!

James has a good write-up on the t-bars in the "How-to" section.

everything is looking good man... and i have to say a BL is not bad at all... honestly i thought gathering the parts were 10x harder than the actual work, if you follow the write up and post any questions you man have the work part is actually quite simple.. A PML is even easier though lol....

Nah... as long as you take your time and follow James' "how-to" you will be good to go. His instructions are way better plus he cuts through all the BS and unnecessary work that the instructions in the kit would have you doing.

If you've got a couple of semi-handy friends, it's no trouble at all. Just time consuming. Plan a full day to do it but it shouldn't take more than 7 to 8 hours max.

it was my first body lift and it took me 5 hours, and that was with my g/f nagging me the entire time.. I started at 5pm and finished up holding a flashlight in hand at 10:30 (I took a 1/2 hour beer/pizza break) drilling the rear bumper took almost an 1 hour because I have crappy bits plus I wanted to paint the fresh holes so it didnt rust....

I have yet to even put back on the drive line safety loop, i doubt I ever will hahah

i wish someone who has done it here in fl could help me out

Nice black Xterra.. I knew a guy that hooked up a squirter type thing in his truck but he had it coming through the dash and out a little spout (he filled the jug with whisky or other alcohol) and kept shot glasses in the truck.
