anyone know how you would mount the grille guard (ones that mount directly to frame) on a 2WD 2003 Xterra? Anyone already have one or know anything? Thanks!

i would assume one anchor point would be the tow hooks/holes just under/behind the bumper. if it can attach elsewhere i didnt see where when i took off my bumper

On my 4x4 there are two round holes in the lowest plastic bar, the grille guard has square tubing that passes thru these and butts against the frame horns, there are brackets that appear to wrap from the top of this down to the outsides of each framehorn where they are bolted, annd another brace that goes from the lower part of the vertical push bars, upwards to the bottom of the frame, there was a bunch of little rocks crammed between the lower valance panel and this apparatus also :eek:
