I was bored today so I went out & bought an RC 4X4 ...

What do you think?

I have to wait 8 hours for the battery to charge.... :(

And yes,, I am 39 years old going on 12 as my wife said.

"A great man is one who in adulthood, maintains the heart of a child." :D

I've been playing with it (the truck that is) for about an hour now. Im surprised at how fast it can go. The RF reception is a little flaky, but then I didnt let the batteries charge all the way.

Cool beans. When I was a kid, my parents couldnt afford to get me things like this. I guess Im fulfiling all of the empty holes in my emotional past.

Nitro fuel? Holy hell! where do you get that from?

I've noticed mine has something like posi rear, but it still seems to get stuck pretty easily in my back yard. Then again, the battery was only half charged so that may have had something to do with it.

I just bought mine last weekend on a whim. I was bored. I figured at the very least, I could have fun chasing my cats around the house with it. :)

This is a little bit off topic, but I was at ball practice last night and this guy was flying a radio controlled air plane out in the field next to us. It was super cool.... anybody play with those? If so, what's a good brand to get? I want one! :)

My favorite is Bell, but I believe Lockheed and Boeing are pretty good.

with electric cars batteries are the most crucial part in performance. is your truck 4wheel drive and what batteries are u using, 7.2v or 9.6v. my truck runs on 33% nitromethane. i get it at the local race track $28.00 a gallon but a gallon lasts like a month
