Driver's window rattle if not all the way rolled up
I have this same problem & was wondering if you or anyone had found a solution. I have had the door panel off & found no way to snug the glass into the frame as I had on other cars.

maybe if you put some silicone where the window rest it would dampen the vibration. just a thought..

Finally figured out the problem. it ended up being the rubber window track. I ordered a new track (easy to install yourself) & no more rattle.

I split this thread up and moved the window rattle out of the intro section. This is a problem that gets asked about a lot so I figured having it's own thread would help others.
How did you solve it Axion?

I just don't roll it up to the point that it comes into contact with that guide tab. I thought it was inside the track or the door but then I saw it just vibrate off the outside window ear tab...
If a fella wanted to glue a black piece of felt on that tab I think it would also solve that rattle "shake"...:aufkopfhauen-big:
UPDATE... Today I SLAMED THE PEDDLE TO THE MEDDLE... GOT IT UP TO 105.00 for about 20 miles. I had the driver side window down about 1"..... FOR THE LIFE OF ME.. I could not get it to role up...
The vac from going so fast would not let the driver side window stay in its track.. It hit the outer tab and I had to slow down to 80 B4 it would role up all the way...
God that was a blast!!! The state police just smiled as I flew by... but then again I think it was my Bro - IN - Law... my sister is also an Oregon.State.Police Officer......

Cost was $ 53 for the new "Run Channel" & shipping. I got it from www.nissanpartsdirect.com. It was the cheapest i could find. Takes about 10 Min. to install after you have the door panel off. A couple of install tricks, Take your speaker out. This will give you access to the track, otherwise you cant get your hand where you need to (the window mechanism is in the way). I used a small metal ruler but, anything like that will work, to make sure the rubber channel was seated where i couldn't reach. Hope this helps

My driver's side window rattles when it's down (like everyone describes), but it also does it when it is all the way up. The only way to stop it is to push against the glass with moderate pressure. Is that a track issue? I can't see that being an ear tab problem, but heck, it could be. Anyone got the definitive fix for that damn rattle. The window mechanism/regulator was replaced last year (thanks for your help on making that an easy job). I thought that would fix the rattle...nope.

I have the same issue, was actually contemplating ripping apart the door today. It happens on the driver and passenger side doors. Figured it might be a loose track or the glass hitting against something so we going to try and use a rubber mat or some kind if i was able to. I'll look into that part for next weekend when i get paid.
