So I've noticed that sometimes when driving I'll suddenly loose battery power or something equivalent because my amp will loose power and my ABS light will flicker briefly. I find it strange that the ABS light would do this at the exact time I loose power to the amp and therefore sub. Anyone ever experience this...

and your battery connections, maybe clean your terminals...

definitely check for corrosion or loose connection on your battery terminals. even a small amount of corrosion can cause issues.

mine did this and it was the positive connector, it was cracked so it wasent even clamped it was just sitting there.

I just cleaned my negative connection and to my surprise it sparked like crazy when I was tightening it down. The positive connection is fine cause I just replaced the whole thing a few days ago, Ill see if this fixes the problem.

X2 on the fusible link. That little inexpensive part can cause some headaches. I had a short that melted it completely in my blazer and it completely shut it down. No juice to anything much less start.

Or......You can pull your - cable and clean off the grounds. The cable goes from the terminal to the pass. side wheel well where it daisy chains and then it grounds to the block. If you pull that off and wire brush the block contact you s will definitely have a good ground.
What about your 4x4 indicator light? Is that still working? If it isn't then you have much worse problems.
Good luck Brandon! You MIGHT be running a crappy battery too.
When all was well did your headlights dim when the bass hit? If so, consider a cap or a larger battery.

Now look at your alternator.

Well I have a brand new Optima Red Top so Im pretty sure the battery is fine. My 4x4 light still works so it might just be more corrosion on the the negative cable... It also only seems to happen when driving so when Im parked and have the accessories on It's fine... Ill re-check everything again
Thanks James

I would spray off your alternator, that was a great idea that James had:) Since the alternator is so low, running through mud or puddles can really affect its' performance. This is the exact reason I avoid mud like the plague. good luck. If you feel like trouble shooting sometime head on up to FoCo and I'll try to help you out
