i hear good things, I hear bad things.. what do you guys think, should they be installed or should they be trashed?? i have been reading that all they do is trap crap inside them and shorten the life of the shocks..

i dont see how is traps dirt unless yo shocks are upside down

it depends on the type of boot also, if they're the rubber accordian type, they will trap dirt and stuff in the boot, but if they are like the stock bilstein ones, then you should be good.

They may protect your shock from a bit of dirt splashing now and then, but if you're ever gonna submerge a shock, dirt and water WILL seep in. It will stay in there for quite some time. I used to give mine to my roommate's labs, they had fun with them.

so rancho shock boots are bad??
