This was a bit tougher than I thought.
3 weeks ago I went looking for some much needed off roading excitement and found most of the roads into the hills off I-90 past North Bend were gated closed! Finally near Snoqualmie pass on the south side was an open road that lead back in the hills.
It was pretty late and I was alone, so I didn't get to carried away but still had fun. I was about 2400 ft when this small turn-a-round appeared and thought it best to turn back.

If anyone lives in this area and wants to do some wheeling, let me know.

This confused me at first, as there's an I90 here in Massachusetts, but no town called Snoqualmie, and we haven't had snow since October :D

Want your mind really blown, look up i-20. Starts at the Oregon coast and ends just north of Hartford, Conn. Really funny part is it goes through the same city twice. Albany, OR and Albany NY.

Yeah, we used too...had some friends there we would visit a few times a year but sadly they divorced and moved away. We did a little 4x'n and liked the area quite a bit.

They close most all the gates this time of year to help stop trail damage from too many people driving on the wet trails. The few that you do find open you better explore them before the guys that think they are driving monster trucks rut them out.

Hehe, same I-90 just different coasts, it crosses the whole Country.

I had no idea I90 ran all the way across the country...I've only driven it West to Albany NY or East to Boston.

A quick Wikipedia read tells me it is also the longest interstate highway in the country, at 3,099.07 miles.

K, threadjack over...
