Hey, been a while since I have been on. Been busy playing outside and now that the cold is here we got some projects going.

My father gave me a Ski-Doo Grand Touring that had been sitting on my front lawn (apparently his storeage space) for 3 years. Cleaned it up, pulled the carbs, new plug and new recoil rope and she ran like a dream.... But the steering was siezed tight. Got it worked free a bit but going to be more effort than I want for this sled, so it's up on CL now.

Did a mechanical refresh (brake cables, carb rebuild, throttle cable) on a buddy's 84 Honda 200m.

Did another mechanical makeover on another buddy's ATC110 he bought. Recovered seat and seat pan needed attention, air filter and rebuilt the wiring harness pretty much from nothing.. Mice were into it BAD!!

I bought a 1986 Honda Big Red 250ES. Just needed an air filter, oil change and battery charged.

Also bought myself a winter project. a 1984 Honda Z50R.

Here is the Z50. It needs new bearings everywhere. Steering stem, wheels, swing arm. Needs a new seat and a kick start lever. Probably new forks. Haven't really tore into it yet, but I rode it before I bought it and it runs great. Going to tear this one down to the frame, paint, replace parts and re-assemble.

Here is a pic from Monday. Went for a little nostalgia ride on the ATC's. From right to left is my Big Red 250ES, the 200M we just refreshed, the ATC110 we just finished and another Big Red 250ES that my buddy has owned for about 10 years. That little 110 is more fun that you should be allowed to have!!

Gotta love those old big reds i learned to chase cattle with my grandparents old one. Aa the good old days lol

Got a few things for the Sammi this winter. I blew the motor being stupid. Went for a short ride and didn't bother to change from my flip flops. Lost a shoe half way over a group of 3 or 4 laydowns and pinned the throttle in 1st gear low range.. Still runs but it blows oil right out the tailpipe. I have a motor waiting to go in it, along with a set of Neon seats and still have yet to do the T-Case gears.. It's pretty much done. Maybe a rear bumper next year.

No more progress on the Z50 yet. Going to start paint soon and I need to order some parts. Front forks, new seat, new tires, new grips...

But, I traded the sled my father gave me for this little gem. 1986 Yamaha BW (Big Wheel) 80. Little brother to the BW200 and BW350... Also very similar, but smaller, to a Honda Fat Cat. It's a 2 smoker with a 3 speed auto clutch. Runs great, just needs a seat cover, o-ring in the fuel shutoff and a rear tire. Paint is horrible on it, but nothing is cracked or broken. My buddy works with a guy who has one that has a bad bottom end and is missing the top end entirely. Hoping it has a good seat and tires and maybe even good plastics and a tank. He thinks he will part with it for less than $50.
