First things first if you have any questions please post them in this thread:

This thread is strictly for gathering interest, so the owner can see if there is enough demand for him to produce these. I have been in contact with Aaron Kimball over at NWP Engineering in regards to his Thermal Intake Manifold Spacer Kit. He currently produces these for many Nissan engines and has an average gain of 5hp and 8.5ft-lbs with his largest gain being for the VQ35DE which net him 10hp and 12ft-lbs!! The reasoning behind his gains is simple, these spacers reduce heat soak and lower the intake manifold temperatures by approximately 40 degrees. He does not have a chassis dyno in house but he does test all of his products using a road based dyno and he will not release a product if it does not offer any gains.

Now for the good stuff answered, quotes directly from Arron:

How much will it cost: The entire kit will more than likely be somewhere between $200 to $225.

Whats included with the kit: The NWP Engineering Kit will more than likely consist of a 1/4" TB Spacer and a 1/4" UIM Spacer. The kit will also include grade 8 zinc plated lengthened bolts and not ugly black oxide bolts like other companies use. All the needed washers are also included along with fully detailed installation instructions with pictures. A coolant bypass fitting is included too to help make the bypass easier without having to drain any coolant. And of course, you get free NWP Engineering decals with every purchase.

What is it made of: People think this is a type of plastic. It's FAR from it. This is not like stamping out plastic gaskets. The since the type of phenolic that we use is glass based, it drastically increases impact and tensile strength, which guarantees it to last for life. But, the negative side of it is that it's very expensive and the machining costs are much higher than that of plastics. We are only able cut about 5 pieces before having to change out the diamond bit we use. That is the main reason it's expensive. Plus, a LOT of R&D goes into each kit.

So what am I getting at? To start production he would like to get 20 prepaid orders which may be kinda hard as he is a newcomer on the scene. But he says if a real interest thread is started (which this thread is) he would need need over 30 nonpaying people that are seriously interested before we can consider this kit.

If the kit is produced there will be one lucky member (from somewhere in the VG33 world) whos engine will be used for R&D and If the product shows an increase in performance and is produced, you will receive a free spacer kit!

Again this thread is for interest ONLY do not post any question here please do so over on this thread:

So you know know the cost and everything about the product, so I will be first to be added to the list of potential buyers "if" the product ever goes into production.

1) I am totally interested, I would buy a kit if it produced similar gains to the other products that are offered.
2)
3)
4)
5)
and so on.....

Let get some more products made for the Xterra!!! If any interested members are members of another forum please post this over there, lets spread the word so we can make this happen..
