OK I have a 2006 Gen 2 Xterra,I installed a Clarion Head unit and Nav system...what I need help with is "What is the best way to find the SPEED SENSOR wire in my X so my Nav system will work?" This is the only wire I have left to connect,but I dont have a wiring diagram....someone said the speed sensor may be going to the cruise control .....does that sound right?please help....tell me how to find it so I can splice it in....

This may or may not help but I just looked at the wiring diagram for my '04 and the speed sensor IS wired through the cruise control. I'm afraid I can't help any more than that. Do a search for wiring diagrams here. We have a few members with libraries of schematics and have made a lot of posts in the past with wiring diagrams in them.

That's the best I can do bro... give it time... some of the other 2nd gen guys will chime in here and help you out more.

did u ever get ur answer? i dont think u need it.. i had a kenwood 911dvd and i didnt have my speed sensor connected and it worked fine
