I have a 2004 Xterra with a Super Charger engine. What is the proper way to change the coolant? where is the drain plug? does anybody have pictures that show this?

Thanks,

T

Should be at the bottom of your radiator.

Just put a collection pan under it (there's going to be a lot) and let it all drip out until there's no more coming out.

who needs a collection pan when you just park over a storm drain :)

anyone have any input on the Prestone Flush Kits that you hook up to your garden hose?? I have heard positive and negative things about them...

you could do the same thing with the garden hose without the prestone kit. All we do here at the garage I work at is use a hose and run water through the radiator and then pop off a hose going into the engine and run it through there...let it drain and then fill it back up.

I have taken a flashlight to the bottom of the radiator with no luck,
I removed the pan that's right below the oil filter to get to the bottom of the radiator still am having trouble finding to drain plug. A photo or diagram would be a big help.

Thanks !
