It is posted up on a few other forums... it will have d44's front and rear with the stock pathy 4 link rear and radius arms in the front. TrueTrac limited slips front and rear with 4.88's. It sports 35 inch tires with one inch of lift total... 17 inch frame height...

How come the older units are all SAS'd but that silver thing on the side of the drive is still IFS?

Don't make me come down there and start cutting stuff off! Or worse yet, just cut it off mine and have to have you Torchmate me out some brackets 'n stuff. Oh the horror! :D

That rear bumper looks sweet!

Nice idea about cutting out the rounds. More and more things just lend themselves to using that 'toy' of yours.

You could probably make some variable spring perch mounts (with the center pin holes in different spots) to locate the axle precisely where you'd want it to. If one were to go with leaf spring front ends, that is.

For the rest of the story....

Everyone loves our little VG engines for being bullet proof... however they don't tend to have an abundance of extra power when it comes to using the passing lane.

I tend to be a pack rat when it comes to parts. So when this project started I figured it was time to use an old VG30et that was waiting around for a few years.

Here is a list of what the engine has so far..

VG30et
440cc injectors
Nistune
Custom GrandpaX exhaust manifolds and down pipes.
The twin turbos off a JDM VG30dett.
Intercooler rated for up to 900 horse with two inlets and one out.
Custom GPX Intercooler shroud with two 1200 cfm efans that turn on at 3 psi.
Pathfinder VG30e intake
2.25 to 3 inch exhaust setup
Mercury Villager alternator with custom mount on passenger side.
Relocated power steering pump with custom mount to drivers side.
Custom poly engine mounts
ATC HD Clutch
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
Custom oil filter/cooler setup
Customized oil pan for turbo oil return lines and more oil quantity.
Relocated radiator into the bumper (300zx style)

All the custom stuff (along with the sas) is being made right here in my garage. The VG should end up putting out around 450 horse.

Here are the custom turbo down-pipe flanges.

Made a receiver hitch and welded it directly in the frame. The tube bumper does not support the hitch in any way...

Now it is time to finish capping off the bumper...

The last owner had installed some really descent speakers... however the 6x9 units in the rear were so deep they pushed out against the body panel.

So I made some 1/4 inch spacers to alleviate the problem.

It should also make the mount job stiffer in general.. thus providing a little better sound.

Can see where the magnet was rubbing..

Spacer from 1/4 inch plate... made to it will fit inside the interior panel when it is reinstalled.

Mounted up..
http://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss55/nissansas/GFab/100_1937800x600.jpg

Just enough... The old owner spent over 200 on speakers and used wire nuts??? Needless to say these kinda fixes are all over the rig.

Better finish that thing up, we got stuff to do G'Pa!

And since I buried my X today while trying to get up my road, I need the SAS quick. As I sat there, waiting for my neighbor to come back and strap my butt out of the ditch, I was about ready to shoot myself in the head over selling the PhoeniX, and the Frontier.

Now you gotta shovel snow off of it to get that axle under there. A lot of snow.
