Is replacing a new gas filter hard on the xterra? What's this I hear about needing a piece of fuel line? thanks

but, its easy i did it last night, its take a 10mm socket to take off the shield and thats about it... i think mine is missing a bracket as my filter is zip tied to the shield... oh well, maybe I will see one at the junk yard one day just another part to add to the shopping list..

well, my fuel line refused to come off the metal line so i tore it off and replaced it

as far as fuel coming coming out of the line in your face
i believe you remove the fuse for the fuel pump and crank the engine a few times
