Greetings dudes, I'm potentially moving to Seattle in the next year and wanted to do a little research on offroad parks/trails in the Washington area. What're your favourite spots?

Naches, Moon Rocks/Funny Rocks, Liberty

They should all come up on Google.

THIS!

Tayhuya is boring and easy unless you are rocking an all-stock rig.

Yeah. Tahuya varies with the weather, but it's generally pretty low key.

ok.. but if you wheel your DD, Tahuya is fine.

For those in Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia, Tahuya is also pretty close and easy for day trips. I'm not knocking it at all. It's a nice place to go and play.

In the 10+ years I've been wheeling with Xterras in the northwest, I've never been on a trail with someone who doesn't use their X as a DD. We once had 21 Xterras on a Moon and Funny Rocks trip. As long as you have some folks who know the terrain and how to handle it in an X, and everyone else is willing to listen, there's no reason why you can't take a DD X on all of these trails.

Of course, it's also possible for some of these trails to go from easy dirt roads to slippery, rutted, rocky messes depending on the weather and trail upkeep conditions.
