We won't open fire just yet... hahaha

The 2nd gens actually have 4 wheel coilover suspension whereas the 1st gennys have t-bars.

I'm not familiar with mods to a vehicle with 4-wheel coilovers because both of my 4WD's have had t-bars.

Do a search for something like "2nd gen lift kits" or something to that affect and see what you come up with. I know there are a few options to go about lifting your X but I just don't know off the top of my head what they are.

Maybe some other 2nd gen folks will chime in but I gotta warn ya... they might flame ya. hahaha

You can't do a PML on 2nd gen's the cheapest you can do is Spacer/Shackle lift, or Spacer/AAL, look into Calmini, or PRG, both good companies, and will help you out. Calmini- www.purenissan.com PRG - prgproducts.com no www

i meant it would be the equivalent to the pml
for my 4runner i gotta buy 1.5" ball joint spacers and shackles for the "pml"
still a poor man's lift, just different methods

Check out Bueller44's X. I believe he is running a similar setup and it has it out in the open and I think he even has a pic of it next to other xterras.

I believe the wheel size is the same. He just went with 33" tires if I'm not mistaken. It looks really good though.

""LOWHOMBRE"" Did your lift turn out ok, did you add the leaf also, how hard was it and how much and who made it. thats the lift i want, does it hurt the ride? thanks for your time.

lift turned out good, i just did the tgc spacers up front and the calmini shachke. the shackle reduced the load capacity outback, thats about it. if you dont haul anything it would not be a problem...

lowhombre, what did you get for lift front and back, what tires are you going with and are you staying with the stock rims?

Mine is from Readylift. It will give you 2.5". As for the ride, you really don't really feel a hit because you are using the stock components, however, lifting a rig will make you a little more top heavy. I will see if I can get a picture of mine next to a stock X. I'll post when possible.

prg is the way to go for the 2nd gen.

pops i was just browsing prg's website (been thinking about trading in the mrs' car for a new pathy, wanted to see what they have available in aftermarket goodies), realized your rig is up on their armada section. very nice, very nice indeed

Thanks!!! I happened in on the "Pic Request" thread that they started up over on ClubTitan and sent them a few pics with a link to my photobucket and told them to use whatever ones they want. Greg was very easy to deal with when I was installing my mini-lift so I wanted to offer what I could for their new site. My 11yr old son is happy about it because he snapped all the pics. :D
